Abstract

Description of Chapter: I will present our experiences that diagnosis and endovascular treatment of lower leg in view of arterial and venous sides. First of all, we address diagnosis and endovascular treatment of atherosclerotic disease. Especially, we discuss about the results of femoropopliteal region in regard with comparison between bypass surgery and endovascular treatment. In the discussion, we detail about the possibility of endovascular treatment, in which ordinally TASC C and D lesions are contraindication for endovascular treatment. Next, we present cases with the iliofemoral venous compression. Apart from arterial diseases, venous disorder have problems associated with venous valve and remodeling. Therefore, we go into detail about the iliofemoral venoocclusive diseases in view of vascular remodeling and treatment option. Contents:  Artery ① Pathogenesis of arteriosclerotic disease (ASD): Overview ② Endovascular treatment of ASD: Update ③ Comparison of mid-term results of endovascular treatment with Bypass Surgery ④ Other entities of lower arterial disease and treatment  Vein ① Iliofemoral venoocclusive disease: Definition ② Correlation between CEAP and Clinical Findings of Chronic Venous Disease(CVD) ③ Mechanism of venous valve movement ④ Shear stress ⑤ Refinement of C classes in CEAP ⑥ Case series
