Submission Guidelines

4-Step Submission Guidelines

Step 1: Preparation

  1. Understand the Costs and Funding Options

Open access publishing is not without costs. If an article is more than 10 pages based on our template, we levy a publication fee of USD$38/page for each additional page. If any of the submitting author's institution is our member, the cost of the article-processing charge is covered by the membership, and no further charge is payable. We routinely waive charges for authors from low-income countries. For other countries, article-processing charge waivers or discounts are granted on a case-by-case basis to authors with insufficient funds. Authors can request a waiver or discount during the submission process.

  2. Make Sure Your Manuscript is Accurate and Readable

Many authors find that they need help in writing their manuscripts in English to a sufficient standard and style to be accepted into peer reviewed journals. We receive many requests for this type of help from authors and also from Editors who are trying to cope with the language problems of their authors. Referees also often request that manuscripts are rewritten before they are able to assess them in detail.

In iConcept Press, we provide language editing services. Language editing services work with the author to correct grammatical errors and other problems with the language of the manuscript. The basic charge is USD$15/page. If a page mainly contains figures, tables or citations, then we may not charge that page.

  3. Understand the Copyright Agreement

Copyright on any open access article in a journal published by iConcept Press is retained by the author(s).

Authors grant iConcept Press to publish the article and identify iConcept Press as the original publisher. Authors also grant any third party the right to use the article freely as long as its integrity is maintained and its original authors, citation details and publisher are identified.

The Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 formalizes these and other terms and conditions of publishing articles.

Upon submitting an article to the journals published by iConcept Press, all authors automatically certify that:

    1. The article is original, has not been formally published anywhere, such as a peer‐reviewed journal, is not under consideration by any other journal and does not infringe any existing copyright or any other third party rights.
    2. They are the sole author(s) of the article and have full authority to enter into this agreement and in granting rights to iConcept Press are not in breach of any other obligation. If the law requires that the article be published in the public domain, they will notify iConcept Press at the time of submission.
    3. The article contains nothing that is unlawful, libellous, or which would, if published, constitute a breach of contract or of confidence or of commitment given to secrecy.
    4. They have taken due care to ensure the integrity of the article. To their ‐ and currently accepted scientific ‐ knowledge all statements contained in it purporting to be facts are true and any formula or instruction contained in the article will not, if followed accurately, cause any injury, illness or damage to the user. They agree to all terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 (and where applicable, Open Policy).

Step 2: Submit

  1. File Format and Style

All our journals are single-blind peer-review journals. In the reviewing phase, we only accept PDF file. Please format your manuscript using our template. We provide MS Word Template for MS Word users and LaTex Template for LaTex users:

  2. Submit Your Article

You must submit your article through our Online Paper Submission System. If you do not have an account, please register HERE. If you forgot your account password, please click HERE.

  3. Suggest Peer Reviewers

You may suggest potential peer reviewers for your manuscript. You can input their names and emails when you submit your article through the Online Paper Submission System.

Note: intentionally falsifying information, for example, suggesting reviewers who are your staff, students or even yourself, will result in rejection of your manuscript and may lead to further investigation in line with our misconduct policy.

Step 3: Review & Revise

  1. Peer Review

All our journals are peer-review journals. Depends on the length and content of your article, it may take up to 3 months to find a suitable reviewer and another 1-2 months for reviewing your article. Please be patient in this lengthy process. Each article will usually have 3 reviewers. But in some rare cases, we may have as much as 6 reviewers or as few as 1 reviewer.

  2. Revise Your Article

After we finished review your article, we will send you a brief editorial report, and you can login your account to see the detailed report. Please revise your paper according to the editor/reviewers comments. If you found any comment is not appropriate, please let us know immediately.

Step 4: Publish & Distribute

  1. Publish

Once your paper is accepted for publication, you have to upload a camera-ready version. Camera-ready is a term used in the commercial printing industry meaning that a document is, from a technical standpoint, ready to "go to publish".

Your camera-ready version must be editable by us (e.g. a MS Word document). Please do not upload a non-editable document (e.g. a PDF document) to us. You must copyedit your camera-ready article using our template. We provide MS Word Template for MS Word users and LaTex Template for LaTex users:

If your camera-ready article does not comply with our template, we reserve the right not to publish it. If you do not want to copyedit the article by yourself, we are happy to help you to do with an article-processing charge of USD$28/page for the first 10 pages and USD$5/page thereafter.

  2. Distribution Channel

All lecture notes will be published and freely downloadable online from our web site.
